Thank you for this information about the Mack Warranty repair service. We sent in our Sony DVCAM a month ago utilizing the website service instructions. They had it a month. We had to call them to have it sent back and they did nothing to repair the problem. We immediately sent it back to the repair site where we were also told they would give it personal attention. So far the smoke they blew you know where was that they could not find the package we sent (even though we had the FedEx signature to prove one of their monkeys signed for it), they had it on the 'wrong' shelf in the repair department and finally that they couldn't find an issue with it - even though i sent a long winded instruction sheet on how to reproduce the problem with the camera! They didn't even read it! I will also follow up with a BBB letter as well. I hope to get the same results.

I agree. I will be checking everything out before the purchase after this horrible experience. That is terrible that you had to miss your daughters second birthday!

(noticed comment on Husbands blog about Mack Camera)

If only we had gone to resellerratings.com and read the horrible reviews of Mack Camera their first we would have never even sent ours in to begin with. (btw I'm using this website a lot now to review companies before dealing with them, its kind of a cool reference..)

I ended up asking for our camera to be sent back un-fixed because of the ratings it had, and will just take the camera to a local shop. It even says on their website that it takes 21 business days before your camera gets looked at. . wth kind of program is that? I missed my daughters second birthday . what a Pain in the butt
